Humanitarian Work
Dr. Abraham is on the Board and Medical Advisory Committee of Healing The Children NorthEast. He has led 2-3 medical mission trips each year for the past 20 years all over the world to help children with facial deformities. Dr. Abraham is also Senior Advisor and Past Chair of FACE TO FACE, the humanitarian arm of the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. He has spearheaded the Academy’s efforts to help in Ukraine by leading teams to train Ukrainian surgeons on complex reconstructive techniques to treat devastating injuries from the war, highlighted by Ukrainian President Zelenskyy.
