Ryan Young has been serving the Hudson Valley as a Physician Assistant for nearly 20 years. After graduating with high marks from both undergraduate and Physician Assistant studies, Ryan began his career working in ENT – Head and Neck Surgery in Poughkeepsie, New York.
10 years ago, Ryan began working closely with Dr. Manoj T. Abraham, specializing in Reconstructive Surgery and Facial Plastic Rejuvenation. Ryan is an expert in the use of Botox® and Dysport®, as well as the numerous cosmetic fillers that are available at Oasis Medi-Spa and Facial, Plastic, Reconstructive and Laser Surgery. This includes Restylane® and Juvederm® products. Ryan is a key member of our team for all pre-surgical work ups and post-surgical care.
In 2018, Ryan was recognized by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), as one of the Top 50 Physician’s Assistants in the country. Ryan was celebrated and received the Hudson Valley 40 Under 40 Award for leadership.
He is the founder of Camp Veritas, an organization running week long camps throughout the summer for Catholic teenagers. In 2017, the camp served 1,600 teens while Ryan directed a volunteer staff of over 400 people. Ryan is also the Director of Fearless Retreats, which provides retreats throughout the Northeast for over 1,000 teens. Ryan is a Knight of Malta within the Catholic Church, the oldest lay religious order of the Church.
Ryan is an author, teacher and the father of 7 children. Ryan enjoys seeing patients and loves his job. Ryan feels his patients are an adventure into the realm of human relationships.
